College Success
Our College Success program gives highly motivated students the opportunity to earn college credits while still working toward their high school diploma. We provide two track options that are designed to help our students achieve their academic goals and explore a wide variety of college courses.

Pearson Online Academy’s core curriculum is geared toward preparing students for college and beyond. Our proven curriculum incorporates materials developed by leading educational institutions such as McGraw-Hill, Prentice Hall, Houghton Mifflin as well as lessons and other resources developed by our own curriculum specialists. Students have access to Advanced Placement®, Honors, College Preparatory, and Basic programs.
In addition to our full-time program, Pearson Online Academy provides part-time and summer school options to help students get ahead, catch up, or explore new subjects.

Pearson Online Academy students often lead busy lives, and this online flexibility allows for learning when it works best for them. Students will need to be available for teacher-led online classroom LiveLesson® sessions, but are able to choose how to arrange their free time in between. For some students, scheduling breaks in between lessons may be the answer to optimized learning. For others, leaving time for extracurricular activities is key. Pearson Online Academy students also have the opportunity to connect with their peers during online socialization opportunities, including clubs and activities.

Parents or Guardians play a key role in their child’s online education, acting as their Learning Coach. The amount of Learning Coach time and level of effort varies depending on the student’s age and ability to work independently.
