Pearson Online Academy Partners with Port Discovery Children’s Museum To Offer Online Learning for Families
Partnership provides families with access to award-winning virtual learning experiences in art, language, and more.
Columbia, MD (October 29, 2020)—Pearson Online Academy, a U.S.-based accredited virtual private school, is partnering with Port Discovery Children’s Museum to provide families with discounted access to award-winning virtual learning experiences exploring art, music, language, and more.
As part of this partnership, families who enroll for Pearson Online Academy courses through Port Discovery Children’s Museum will receive an exclusive $25 discount off of each course. In addition, Port Discovery Children’s Museum will receive a donation for each course purchased via the Museum.
The online courses offered via the partnership between Pearson Online Academy and Port Discovery Children’s Museum provide expanded educational support for families, providing access to engaging and exciting content in art, music, language, home life and more. Each course provides several weeks of learning and can be completed at the convenience of each individual family. These offerings build upon Port Discovery’s existing library of At-Home Play activities and other Virtual Learning Opportunities.
In addition to the engaging array of fun virtual learning activities Port Discovery has already developed for children and families to do together during the COVID-19 lockdown period, together with Pearson Online Academy, it has expanded its educational support role for Maryland families by offering online courses – such as music, art and foreign languages – as part of a strengthened at-home offering.
